So, me, Elyse, Joe and Devin went to eat at Jersey Mikes today. Right after we finish eating Elyse's phone rings and it is this number that she has never seen before, she almost ignored it, but she asked Devin to answer it. I see Devin answer the phone and he has the weirdest look on his face and he asks if he can call them back...........He turns to all of us and says its Chris from Underoath. At first we called him a liar and everything....and I swear I thought he was....but he was dead serious. So I call the number back and sure enough it was him. Basically he called to tell us that the slot we were hoping for on there fall tour was full (We sent easily almost a message a day for the last month asking about it, thanks to Chad and Elyse). He gave us plenty of encouragement and admired our persistence. Even though he was basically giving us bad news with his call, it was awesome that he took the time to call and let us know about it. Plus, I'm sure they are tired of the emails too!
That's my blog for the day.....so fancy ending or anything......just a pretty sweet phone call.
