35. OZ UPDATE

alex just sent me song number 15, that joel wrote and they put together today.
diggin' it. exactly the direction that we are all stoked on going.

34. Whoa

So, me, Elyse, Joe and Devin went to eat at Jersey Mikes today. Right after we finish eating Elyse's phone rings and it is this number that she has never seen before, she almost ignored it, but she asked Devin to answer it. I see Devin answer the phone and he has the weirdest look on his face and he asks if he can call them back...........He turns to all of us and says its Chris from Underoath. At first we called him a liar and everything....and I swear I thought he was....but he was dead serious. So I call the number back and sure enough it was him. Basically he called to tell us that the slot we were hoping for on there fall tour was full (We sent easily almost a message a day for the last month asking about it, thanks to Chad and Elyse). He gave us plenty of encouragement and admired our persistence. Even though he was basically giving us bad news with his call, it was awesome that he took the time to call and let us know about it. Plus, I'm sure they are tired of the emails too!

That's my blog for the day.....so fancy ending or anything......just a pretty sweet phone call.

33. Uhhh?

Howdy doody!

Welp, my drums sound great... im thinking about getting some new heads for them though. They kinda cheesed out on that part of the kit. But what can ya do?

Kori (my girlfriend) is singing in Italy for another week. Im happy for her! She has an amazing voice. It's kinda good that she is gone this week though, there is a TON of stuff to be done at the shop, so I have put in a lot of hours this week.


I got a hair cut not to long ago. It was truly driving me crazy. You can't really tell, but I sure can.


I finally started reading "Wild at Heart" again. I quit for a while, but I picked it back up again last night and read a chapter. It's a super inspiring book. It makes me want to go on an amazing adventure.

Things seem slow on The Hundredth home front. All is still well, but I can tell we are all getting anxious for Chad to get back home and REALLY start writing. I can't wait to hear what we come up with for the cd. Big things are to come!!! I just can't wait to live in a van... not down by the river. haha

32. Tired but STOKED!

Just gonna ramble a bit...

Got paid today, so that means that i pay my drums off tomorrow and they ship tomorrow. So i will probably have them some time at the beginning of next week. Ive waited this long though, so i can wait some more. For those who havnt seen them yet, scroll down!

We've been shooting a little bit of video for a new diary, so hopefully that will be up soon. 

Still working a lot.

Ive been messing around with some interlude type of stuff. Not sure if it will get used, but it's all i can seem to write lately. 

Super duper stoked about the return show... it's definitely gonna be extremely strange for myself though. I've played tons of shows before, but never sat behind a drum set at any of them. I'm real nervous about it, but we have plenty of practice between now and then. 

Also, im super duper stoked about Chad's return. Maybe ill build him a cake or something. We'll see?

Oh... i still havnt sold my bass cabs yet. $1000 even.... someone buy them so i can get some new shoes or something. I still have a ton of drum stuff to get too. Even if you don't play bass, it might look good sitting in your living room.

Its been a couple of days, I'm just going to regurgitate on here.

I cant believe I used to just sit around my house all day with no job.

Lately I have been working everyday this whole month and its crazy, but I like having something to do. I feel like I am actually building something instead of just watching kids all day.

Everything musically is working out amazingly (falling into place kinda stuff happening)

These last six months I can describe with that phrase. (Falling into Place)

There have been plenty of snags and setbacks for sure.

They just don't seem to matter. I just finally made my mind up that nothing is going to stop this.Some sweet stuff is in the works, Its getting close to July.

First show is in late August. keep checking out the myspace.
