04 - Back in the U.S. of A!

So what we thought was going to be a lame weekend actually turned out well...

We found out late Friday night that Joel was having some car trouble and was not going to make it down for practice. But whether it's one person or all people, there is always something to be done.

Saturday Alex got in touch with our good friend George Gill from Myrtle Beach Recording. We all got together for some good ol' recording. George brought over some of his equipment and helped us track 4 new songs. We did the drums on Saturday and worked on putting some bass and guitar on them Sunday. We still have some work to do on those.

Later that night Alex's dad invited us over for sushi night! It was amazing. Some of the best sushi i've ever had. Over dinner we discussed how uneducated i was on some of the best movies of all time. That led to movie night at Devin and Elyse's place. We watched Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.... amazing movies!

That was our weekend... it was a good one!

Aside from that, i put my old bass cabs on ebay. If they sell i will be able to pay off my SJC kit. It will look kind of like this...

Also, i think i have a sick tattoo idea! Of course that will be a while from now, but if you are familiar with McGee and Me, you will love it.
Love,
Koontz!
